Video editing software tends to be complex with terminology to learn. Why many people never post videos because it requires reading directions and using web searching to understand terms and functions. Read current reviews for such software.
For my YouTube free video account, I use Adobe Premiere Elements 12 that is a dated product over a decade old. Just understand using it in ways I need to as has many functions I've never used. Newest version is Adobe Premiere Elements 2025 that has similar processes. Note am also an old Photoshop user.
This is what the completed timeline complexity looks like for a 2 minute video. The Video 2 row are text image annotations. The Audio 2 track is added free music from the Adobe library. Those different sections are clips. No one dumps raw unedited videos out of cameras onto the web as files are too large usually with dead space that would waste memory.
