their lawn with clover? I'm toying with the idea because I'm tired of fighting the fungus that attacks fescue.
No, but we have some big patches of clover and like them. The bees do too!their lawn with clover? I'm toying with the idea because I'm tired of fighting the fungus that attacks fescue.
If it was me I try it in some bare spots or a small area of your yard to see how well it grows first. Clover is better for the soil as it adds nitrogen. Are the bees gonna get me when I mow? Eeeek!
Another thing: Do I need to remove the existing fescue or just reseed with clover?
Does it require a lot of water...like our lawns do to remain green? If it was me I try it in some bare spots or a small area of your yard to see how well it grows first. Clover is better for the soil as it adds nitrogen.
Clover needs less water than most grass and is drought tolerant.Does it require a lot of water...like our lawns do to remain green?
If your allergic to bees you may want to reconsider replacing your grass with clover. I have not had any problems with bees when mowing, but then there are not a lot of bees in my yard to begin with.Yabbut...the bees! Are the bees gonna get me when I mow?
