Anyone drink hot tea?

I'm trying to develop a taste for it, and I kinda like it. (I've always been a coffe drinker, and I LOVE a latte). What's a good brand/flavor? I've tried Earl Grey, and liked it a lot. Currently, I have Twinnings Lady Grey, and it seems to be pretty good. It's very hard to find though, I ordered what I have from Amazon.

Just thought I would ask for opinions.

Another vote for strong black tea.

Sometimes I add a few whole cloves to the pot for a little different flavor.

I also drink Constant Comment hot or cold.

I usually drink 3 - 8 oz. cups every day. Morning cup, black tea, dash ground ginger, dash of turmeric, TBS honey. (this will get your day going) Afternoon green tea and honey only. If you want a healthy drink tea is said to be the one, according to research. ;)

We occasionally drink hot herb tea. My husband's favorite is that Constant Comment Aunt Bea mention. An English lady who used to live across the street made him a cup of black tea with milk in it and he said that was great. We keep forgetting to make it here at home. I like licorice tea, especially for a sore throat. But it's great anyway on a cold day. I also make herbal health teas from scratch that I drink or have my husband drink.

But we are coffee drinkers for the most part.

Twinings English breakfast tea or Sutton's English breakfast tea. Both dark & rich in flavor. Used to drink coffee but switched to tea when I couldn't drink the coffee that was served in rehab after spinal surgery. Biggest surprise was my blood pressure stabilized at mid 120's with tea.

RadishRose, I will be sure and tell John about this because, you know, he wants to drink his tea exactly like the Queen does. ;) He does like black tea with milk though.
"It's a debate that tea lovers could have for hours – do you pour the milk in first, or the tea? The Queen's royal butler has revealed Her Majesty's favourite tea and how she likes to take it. Drumroll please… the monarch is a fan of Assam and Earl Grey, and will always pour the tea in first if she's taking milk "

I had heard about pouring the milk first to keep the cups from cracking but it never occurred to me that the custom was linked to a person's status. Very interesting, thanks!

I love earl gray and constant comment. Both as strong as I can make. I’m a peppermint lover and drink my very strong coffee with peppermint mocha creamer in it. So it stands to reason that I also like peppermint tea 😉 Constant Comment makes a black tea flavored with peppermint. Most of the other peppermint teas I've tried are herbal and aren’t strong enough for me.

My mother drank tea all the time, but after I left home, I rarely touched it. I prefer coffee, but Mrs.L likes Earl Grey and also fruit 'teas' and various ones that she's bought in Germany. Today she's drinking one called "Kleine Sunde" (literally little sin) or peccadillo.
