Anyone else in this boat?

Not me, although I suspect that I am borderline on the introvert/extrovert line. I enjoy alone time during which I live in my own head, thinking and remembering things. I listen to the radio for music and news.

However, when out and about I smile at everyone and exchange greetings and small talk. I enjoy being part of a community.

By the way, welcome to this community where every personality type can find their own niche filled with like minded posters.

I appreciate the engagement. It's not a scam. While I do have a legitimate business, I didn't post here to sell anything. I run ads through Facebook and I get about 200 leads per day - all of whom are in the demographic 55+. I genuinely thought I could learn by starting a discussion. Apologies to anyone who thought differently.

Well see there's the thing... the forum T&R state that by joining, you are claiming to be 50 or older yourself... not just looking for a 55+ demographic.
"This Service is only available to users who are at least 50 years old. If you are younger than this, please do not register for this Service. If you register for this Service, you represent that you are this age or older."

Maybe if you'd chosen a more subtle username - like maybe - your name. Then the scam alarm bells wouldn't have gone off?

I'm so used to doing everything with the business name that I overlooked it. I tried to change it to my name before I posted but it wouldn't let me. Do you know how to change it?

I didn't realize I was an introvert until much later in life. Once I understood it, so much of my life made sense — why I needed alone time, why small talk drained me, why I always felt different. Anyone else have a similar experience?
Sure but in my country you're weird if you're extrovert so it was never a problem. I did feel sorry for a Canadian manager. She was so sweet, outgoing and enthusiastic and all these grumpy guys were nasty to her, asking for more money and expecting her to act normal. Act normal is shut up and be introvert. Must be really annoying if it's the other way around.

Wow! That's really interesting.
