Anyone else playing Powerball ?

I know that the odds of winning are probably one in a trillion but the way I see it is that someone always wins and you darn sure can't win if you don't buy a ticket....we bought two tickets for last nights drawing and sadly didn't win and I'm pretty positive that mama will purchase a couple more tickets for the 1.10 billion drawing tomorrow night.

I bought two tickets for the drawing last night and matched 2 numbers but no power ball so won nothing. I keep hoping someone wins so I don't have to keep buying tickets but my husband thinks we will win. Oh well, a couple of tickets is all we buy.

I buy them occasionally when it hits close to a billion. I've only hit on 2 numbers, so no win.

At the store I work, the lottery machines sure get a buyer's frenzie for those tickets. I'm sure we'll be busy with ticket sales tomorrow.

I wouldn't know what to do with all of that money. Of course the government would take their share, about 75%. I could tear down one of my rooms, and build a silly ballroom, that no one will come to.

According to the lotto web site of the 1.1 billion the cash pay out would be $503,400,000.00....we'd probably have to tighten our belts a little bit to get by but we'd manage somehow.

I always hated back in my working days when the jackpot would get big and someone at work would start a lotto pool. I don't like to play but I also didn't want to be the only person showing to work after the drawing!

I've bought a few tickets. I've never been very keen on the lottery, but the chance—extremely remote though it is—of winning some money does appeal, even if the odds are minimal.

I wouldn't even want billions, to be honest. If I could buy a small condo, a new car, pay off my debt, and retire, I'd be happy. Being able to travel would be a nice bonus.
