Depends where I am. If I'm home no, that's why I live where I live. Other places it depends on the vibe. Never used to lock my car in town, and left the keys in it, but that was many years ago, and my wife spent a lot of time living in the city, so now the they get locked.

Last thing I do at night is take the dogs out so I lock up and turn off outside lights when I’m done with that.
We’re both in the kitchen after dinner and the stove gets checked then, and I’m the last to leave for work in the morning so I double check the stove because we each cook breakfast .. Ron gets up and leaves well before I do so breakfast is always individual.
Ron’s responsible for the outbuildings and vehicle security. He always makes sure the work van alarm is activated, and that his shop and other building is locked up right. Tens of thousands of dollars worth of tools out there!

Yes. Always make sure the front door is locked. I have my routine I go through at night time.

I always do a perimeter check, so that I don't hear the pitter patter of some intruder that I 'll have to shoot.
