Anyone Else Tired/Sick of These Constant Seasonal and Holiday Warnings?

I just got to say I am. Every holiday a new warning; every season a new warning of a new wave. I feel like "Yes, We know Already, Shut up!" They must have the average person down for being a moron. Don't we already know to social distance, wear masks when needed, wash hands? And I've gotten 3 vaccines already.

The news just goes on and on with this baloney. I don't know, do we all need constant reminders? I don't for one. I already have no life so I'm pretty safe...lol
 

I just don't listen to them anymore and live my life. It's better for me. They seem to enjoy causing panic in people and that is unhealthy even for healthy people when constant anxiety becomes chronic as it has during this pandemic.
 
The mask/ no mask thing is becoming almost a farce. Signs keep going up and down saying masks are required, or now they are not "required" but are recommended, etc. Keeping up with this is enough to make your head spin. Around here, most people just wear the damn masks all the time, at least indoors.

And I agree; how many times do we need to be told to wash our hands?
 

I read news online. "News", that's what I put in my search, not Covid, Corona virus, virus, vaccine, not the vaccine makers names, not mandates, not protests.

Doesn't matter, the news is blasted with all the above.

I'd like to know what's happened, happening,
know what else is going on but you have to read through a news website past all of the above to get to anything if it's even mentioned. 😡

@chic - same here. I refuse to live in fear. I live my life and enjoy each day...for me, there is no other way :love:
 
I live in a 55 plus apartment. We got those stupid wash your hands, wear masks and keep your social distance posters up for nearly 2 years. If you haven't seen them or never heard of the rules, you gotta be a pretty dumb bell with you head stuck in a hole for the last 2 years. It's getting BORING! Oh, Oh! Maybe I live in a boring country? I hope not. I like to think that most people have brains and know how to use them! I just wish they would show it!

I agree. It's as mind-numbing as those pesky commercials. Especially the Medicare ones😜🥺😉

Yes, it's gotten confusing about masks, too, with them changing their minds on it. I was at the clinic the other day waiting for an exam and wouldn't you know it they had a tv in the exam room telling people to wash their hands, distance and wear masks. I was thinking Can't I even have some peace in the exam room? Geez.

Yes, I agree that probably everyone has anxiety now--I think they call it Health Anxiety Disorder but not totally sure on the exact name. We all got it now, though. Sad.

I'm with you, we are all adults and not idiots. Most of us have common sense. I think these warning have gone too far, people like us don't need them and are tired of them. The people who need them will turn a deaf ear anyway, they already decided to defy any safety measures since the beginning of the pandemic.
