The wife and I enjoy watching all those wealthy investors and entrepreneurs seeking investors deal.
I don't like "Mr. Wonderful" (Kevin O'Leary) as he goes out of his way to hurt some of the inventors.I catch part of it sometimes if I'm in the kitchen watching TV, some of the people have some interesting products or services. I didn't like the guy recently though who said he had a new good bathrobe for the men to wear. It was basically a short robe like a sweatshirt, and then sweatpants underneath it. It wouldn't have been any easier or nicer to wear around the house in my opinion, looked like it would be too hot and uncomfortable too.
One episode I watched tonight he made a girl cry by being a total ass.Yes, he can be tough at times.![]()
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$Used to watch it all the time, have lost interest. The thought process’ of these guys are amazing.
I know what you mean, he is heartless. But I saw one episode where someone really needed to be frank with two young super-thin gals who had designed a pair of jeans that they said would eliminate the battle of the bulge at the waistline. One of the gals said she owned 76 pairs herself...huh?I don't like "Mr. Wonderful" (Kevin O'Leary) as he goes out of his way to hurt some of the inventors.
.......The jeans looked cheaply made, unattractive, and the gals didn't have a good answer as to what made the waistline any more effective than the millions of other jeans out there made with stretchy waistlines...... I was shocked and felt awful (as did the other sharks) for the two gals who stood there crying, but Kevin was right and saved those gals from wasting a lot of their time and $$$ if they heeded his warning.
I am glad they tell it as it is. I usually agree with them. Better to learn their problems right off in a business than suffer later when they fail. Tell them what to expect! They don't suffer fools!!I don't like when they denigrate a potential inventor. You don't want to invest fine. Don't and shut up.
