Anyone for whale meat?

In a shop in Bergen, I saw a selection of salamis. There was Elk, salami and whale. I was intrigued by the name 'whale salami', but I thought it was just a name and didn't actually contain whale meat. I bought one for the novelty and when I got it home, I translated the ingredients. Well, it does appear to contain 20% whale meat. Perhaps some would not buy it on principle, but I couldn't resist. It tastes just like any other salami, but I just can't place some of the spices.

The original Italian salame is from donkey. I remember horse meat and salame being sold at a specilty shop. They also sold meat and meat products for nickels on the dollar which were approved for human consumption but not being slaughtered the traditional route such as animal which had to be put down due to an injury.
