Anyone get to see.......

I saw it through some hazy clouds when it was high in the sky.

The best time to look at any full moon is early in the evening, when it is still low in the sky. The optical illusion created by the moon being seen close to objects on the ground makes it appear much bigger than it looks when viewed by itself higher in the sky.
 
There will be two more even more super than last night's.

One in early August & another one in September.
 
We went to dinner,then on the way home saw the moon rising behind our volcanic mountain. So we drove back down to the lake and walked out on the pier. This pic is blurry cuz it was taken on my phone-and the moon wasn`t as pretty as it was when it first came up behind the mountain-but the reflection on the lake was just beautiful. (You can kind of see it here.)

More super! Getting to be commonplace now. I don't remember so many of these in the past.

Although it was very pretty,I prefer some of our sunsets here. I`ll share just a few from the past year.
