Anyone have a dream which then happened in real life?

Have any of you had a dream , recurrent or one-off dream that came to pass in real life...?

I have had the same dream for years which involves me driving a white car, and in the dream I see myself losing control for some reason and driving off a cliff, and I can clearly see myself lying over the steering wheel..it's obvious I'm dead

That's never actually come true because I have always refused to own a white car... but what about you have you ever had a dream that came true..and what was it?
 

Yes, that has happened to me a few times. I once dreamed about a building which didn't seem at all familiar, but I felt compelled to go there. A couple of days later, our dog died in an accident, and I went to the local RSPCA centre to adopt a puppy. I had never been there before but it was the building in my dream!
Another time, I was being shown around a building which had lots of bathrooms with strange-looking equipment. Not long afterwards, I went for an interview for a job in an old people's home....it was in the building I had dreamt of!
It's this sort of thing which makes you wonder how much of life is pre-ordained.

Oh Geez! OK, Here's one.
I just got off working a night shift. Got home and my (now late) husband asked me to go to Farmington (from Pagosa) to pick up insulation because he was building a cabin. I told him I had to sleep a few hours before i went, because i couldn't keep my eyes open!
I fell asleep and had a dream I was driving behind a big white box. No one was on the road and I went around the box, even though there was no visability. A little red pick-up truck speeding, 80 to 90 mph crashed into the cab of my truck and I was killed! (That was the dream)

So, After a couple hours of sleep, I drove to Farmington. I went the back road because it was much shorter and no traffic!
But, i got behind a VERY SLOW garbage truck! A WHITE, BOXY GARBAGE TRUCK!
No one else on the road, so I thought, I'm going around him. I couldn't see who was coming from the other direction but felt SURE no one was on the road. haha! Sleep deprivation causes not right thinking! I started to go around him and BAM! THE DREAM came shooting through my brain! Suddenly, I REMEMBERED the dream and stopped my push to get around the truck!
Just then, a red pick-up truck sped by, AT LEAST 90 MILES AN HOUR! Had I tried to pass, he would have bashed right into me!
I would have been hamburger!
I honestly think it was my surrounding angels warning me. They take good care of me, in spite of myself!

If I had that same dream and it came true, I wouldn't be here to tell about it. :ROFLMAO:

I don't recall having a dream that came true. I dreamt I won the lottery ... and I didn't.

Edit: I have had dreams that, though I don't recall what they were about, I do clearly remember feeling VERY relieved that it was only a dream.

The funniest joke is one that's unintentional.
"It's obvious I'm dead."
"That's never actually come true."

Wouldn't it be really difficult to post if..........
 
Dreamt I walked into a lamp-post and broke my nose, then a while later, I was out walking and waving hello to someone I knew, bang, I walked into a lamp-post and broke my glasses. Should I ignore people while I'm out now?

Not yet. Maybe when I get old and forgetful, I will have a repetitive experience that I think is a dream and then experience it again to think the dream was real. :)

well hopefully it won't be as serious as my dream or you won't be around to know if it was a repetitive experience :sneaky:
 
Never but I have had several that I wish would come true. I used to have a dream many times over where I could run and leap then float through the air for a hundred feet or so and I just kept doing it over and over thinking "this is some kind of super ability suddenly given me."
 
I've had "premonition" dreams before...when about 8 or 9
I dreamt one nite that an Aunt had died, i even dreamed
how it hap;pened, a wreck with a train, next day it was
confirmed in a call that the exact thing had happened a few
miles up the road....also dreamt about a favorite uncle who
lived long ways from me had died overnite from the cancer
he had...turns out it was true as a phone call revealed later that day.....odd thing is those are only two dreams of that type, didn't dream of any other family members, e ven tho several have passed away.........:unsure:

when I was a child, for no reason, and usually soon after I went to bed at night, I would suddenly wake up crying believing my mother had died... she'd come and tell me not to be concerned and that she would live until she was very old, because only the good die young.

She died at 39 years old when I was 18 and my youngest sibling was 10 years old ... Premoniton, by me ?..maybe, I'm not sure
