Anyone have hypothyroidism?

I understand your complaint about "the numbers" but if I don't get bloodwork done and don't know what my "numbers" are, how can I know if there's a problem or not? I don't believe in just taking supplements, etc. for what "might" be wrong just because I don't want to take drugs.

Not everyone can tolerate supplements like iodine, kelp, or garlic tablets, or fish oil, etc., and I'm one of them.

I don't go to a doctor any more than I have to but I do need to see him once a year for bloodwork and to get my BP Rx refilled.
When I worked in the Ambulance service here in Toronto, one of the "street signs " of HYPO Thyroid was bulging eyes, and a flushed, red face. These were simple visual clues that anyone who was trained, would pick up on in certain patients. Of course actual lab tests were all ways also ordered. JimB.
