Anyone Here on a Statin For Their Cholesterol?

Sheesh!

Had to go off of my Prevastatin for my cholesterol. It was making my teeth very sore and achy. As soon as I stopped, the teeth pain went away. I'll have to try a new statin I suppose. Don't see my doctor for a month, though. He's booked solid up until then.

The first statin I was on was Crestor and it was upsetting my sleep. This will be my third stab at a different statin. Hope the third time is a charm.

As I mentioned above, I am now on a non-statin cholesterol medication. Works fine for me; I had also been on three other statin medications prior to this. Non-statins may not work as well for others with cholesterol problems, but, if this third statin also gives you a problem, it might be worth asking your doctor about a non-statin alternative.
