Anyone know what doctors actually eat for breakfast?

What they actually eat. Yes, we've probably all read what dietitians, physicians, and the Mayo Clinic or other authorities recommend we have for breakfast.

I'm not supposing a generality concerning habits would apply to all doctors. But I wonder if anyone here has knowledge of what a physician or some physicians actually eat?

By the way, the last specialist I was examined by was an affable but plainly overweight gentleman.

Uh... well yes, I do... at least one of them. :sneaky: My dearest friend for more than 20 years was a rad onc. He often did cereal or oatmeal for breakfast, *but* the favorite was stopping at McD's for 20 or 25 breakfast sandwiches to hand out to his nurses and clinic staff. They loved it.

Lunch... either catered in or Subway. He was never overweight and very healthy.

I know most of the docs where I work eat anything ranging between salad and fast food during the day. But from the looks of them they stay active and/or workout. One of the docs eats an entire pizza by himself some evenings. LOL! So I'm sure if they eat breakfast it's not all that different from what you or I would eat.

*Added note...I also don't see them snacking a lot.

We have had 6 GP's in less than 3 years. All skinny, I could careless what they eat.;)
Have you ever noticed in Doctors offices, and dentists, nurses and other medical facilities that the office people are over weight?
Normal people are not made from twiggy food :p

Donuts! That's what we caught one of ours eating anyway. Huzz had just had an appointment with the doc & he told him he needed to lose weight & get that cholesterol down, etc. So the next morning, we stopped in at a coffee/donut shop and instead of the usual donuts, got whole wheat muffins, turned around from the counter to leave and there was the doc sitting there with a dozen donuts in front of him; we all laughed.

I don't eat breakfast but I imagine my doctor eats similar to me since I've run into him at Whole Foods a couple of times. We're similar in age but he is a lot slimmer so he probably just buys smaller portions! :ROFLMAO:

My two brothers are/were doctors. During the work week, they eat what people usually eat for breakfast, cereal with milk, juice, coffee, toast, peanut butter not necessarily all at the same time. If at home on the weekend, eggs, bacon, juice, coffee, sometimes pancakes. The reason I know is that I have stayed at their homes in the past. One is a GP and the other is a retired oncologist.

One of my cousins had a Brazil nut even day with his breakfast, apparently they have good oils in them.
