Anyone know what this kitchen tool is?

My mother would make orange juice on Sundays, and would use the strainer above to get the pulp & seeds out. So delicious!

I would use it, I've got one very like it, as a tea strainer.

You could also use it for sifting small quantities of flour including mustard flour, putting measure of tea or coffee, or any herb to be infused in there and actually infusing your tea or coffee through the mesh.

I don't know about the US but they are not uncommon in the UK and you can buy them at any supermarket?
