Anyone Live in a Senior Subsidized Apartment ??

Bryten Real Estate Partners.

Thanks for the info. I see that they are in a lot of states. I'm checking out their site for senior income-based apartments in FL. I see 3 properties in the area I'm interested in but their websites don't say anything about senior income-based. I am messaging Bryten to ask.

I've considered subsided housing but they have too many rules and regulations from what I have seen visiting other people. I have been living in a regular apartment for 14 years now. Fortunately the rent is still affordable ($675). I have a few friends who left subsided apartments because of the problems and regulations, plus I see maintenance issues on the news regularly.

Privately-owned senior income-based apartments are better than local government (housing authority) -owned, and more of the private ones are becoming available everyday. All apartments, however, do have the rules, restrictions and challenges that residents do not have when they have their own property. It is true that senior affordable apartments have basic inspections and regular apartments usually don't have any. Many privately-owned, by-the-income senior apartments bring in bedbug dogs to inspect every 3 mos (quarterly). Usually, residents are not allowed to burn candles or have any type of open flame in their units. Rarely are portable grills allowed.
