I was the Captain of my High School chess club, but I can't remember what piece is worth more points, a bishop or knight? 😀

Can't really get into online chess though. If it was my goal, I could have been a Grandmaster. Bobby Fisher, imo, was the greatest player that ever lived.
 
Okay...I'll grab my board. I have to be in front of the set to play. And I may be a little awkward with my move calls, but you'll get it.

Where do I go on the Net to get a snapshot of our game at any given time? Any idea?

The best way to do online chess is thru Chess.com. Its free. Its very easy to set up an account. Besides letting you play against other human players the site also has nifty puzzles, chess bots, chess lessons and ways to improve one's chess. I am on chess.com every day! Here's the link. Otherwise I don't know how to get a snapshot of our game in progress except by one of us sharing a screenshot of what they are doing. In my case I have our game set up on a Chess program called Shredder. This is just so I can see and save the position as we go. Unfortunately my Windows 11 saves screenshots in PNG format which is not supported on this web site. I could convert these to JPEG or PDF but its kind of a pain to do this with every move we play.
 
This is fun. I don't mind just poking away at our game when either of us log in...no time frame. :)
 
Sorry to interrupt the flow but wouldn't it be better to play via the private message system? One advantage: you would be totally free of interruptions from guys like me 😁 ♟️
