Donald Trump Calls FBI After El Chapo, Escaped Drug Lord, Threatens Him On Twitter



The Huffington Post | By Nick Visser Email It's only been a day since Mexican drug kingpin Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman escaped from a maximum-security prison -- plenty of time to start a Twitter war with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Guzman, head of the the notorious Sinaloa Cartel, apparently hopped on social media shortly after he escaped his cell, bragging about the breakout and threatening Trump, the real estate magnate and anti-immigration advocate who has accused Mexico of sending criminals to the U.S. Trump has sent sending a storm of tweets since Sunday, using El Chapo's escape to criticize U.S. border policies, immigration reform and the war on drugs.
The Donald went so far as to say he'd "kick [Guzman's] ass," while his opponents would merely negotiate with him.
Guzman apparently replied with some choice profanity via an unverified account with more than 300,000 followers. "I'll make you eat your ****ing words," the tweet threatens.
Trump has asked the FBI to investigate the threatening tweets, according to both TMZ and ABC News.
“I'm fighting for much more than myself," Trump said in a statement Monday. "I'm fighting for the future of our country which is being overrun by criminals. You can't be intimidated. This is too important."
 

The story was on our news , money can buy you lots of " friends" and assistance I believe he was on the run for 13 years the first time he escaped
 
Can you imagine this guy fresh out of a prison escape rushing to a computer, setting up a twitter account to trade jabs with windbag Trump? What a joke.
 

No. Trumps gaining a lot of attention with this immigration thing, I really haven't heard him talk about much else. Can we say media whore?

Well, this El Chapo guy apparently had a luxurious mile long escape tunnel waiting for him in prison so it wouldn't be that much of a stretch to have a disposable smart phone in the getaway car or stash house.

I thought I read he used his brothers account for the tweets?
 
For you nonbelievers, we do have a problem with our borders. Trump is right about that issue. Trump is not against immigration at all. He is against all this illegal immigration that happens on our borders. False claims about Trump make no difference to the general population as his applauding following is steadily growing.

Hate calls and nasty lies do not slow down Trumps popularity at all. He speaks truth mostly and that is what a lot of folks like. Enough of this political lies and nonsense that we have all had to live with for far too many years. Politicians can never be trusted. No matter which party they may pledge too.

Trumps current high polling mirrors what many really think and know about illegal immigration/immigrants. Mexico is corrupt and their drug business is fueled by US consumption in which I understand the motivation to manufacture, transport and sell illegal drugs but no one is forcing them to kill, bribe, brutalize, smuggle on any side of the border. This El Chapo is the current example of Mexican corruption. How does one build a mile long tunnel complete with light, electric, ventilation and a rail system in less than one year with no one noticing.

Illegal immigration is not just from Mexico in many areas of the country. There are illegals from Europe, the Caribbean, South America, the islands or even Canadian snow birds. No matter the source a secure and defined border should be a priority. Right now Mexico and this El Chapo are the poster children but it could be numerous others.
