Anyone remember when the old gas pumps had clocks built in them?

I always thought they were the coolest.
I've been searching for a long time to try and find one to restore.

It is not a clock. It is the gauge that tells how many gallons pumped. Try eBay or Pickers.

Yeah, I looked up on the net. It's a gas pumping gauge. They were called clockface pumps, but it's not a clock. Here's a link to a buncha pictures of them.

Well. that explains why I can't seem to find a clock. Funny, over the years, I discovered a few of the gallon gauge ones, but, silly me, I kept looking for a clock one.
Still, I got to admit the gallon ones are cool too.

I remember that some had a little glass "dome" on top that the gas bubbled through while pumping.

Nope, can't say that I do. Going to car shows, I haven't seen any either, but I have seen the pumps with the sight glass and the gas flowing. I don't know why they were there or what their purpose was.
