This HBO series is a humdinger. I watched the last episode last night, and its ending was a breathtaking surprise. It's very well acted and directed, starring Amy Adams and Patricia Clarkson, with Chris Messina and a lot of other very good actors. The original novel was written by Gillian Flynn, who wrote Gone Girl, a brilliant writer.
