That's something I never did either, Dobs. No, not at all.
I hung out in front of the school where all the red freaks and long haired dudes hung out!
I did not take the drugs tho
All I have to say is "Los Angeles, 1960s, and high school", and that tells the whole story. If you remember the 1960s, you probably weren't there. No, not at all.

Well, there were something like 5,000 kids in our school, so I was but one of many. Good grief, think of all those wild kids scattering to all parts of the country and what impact they have today.I always had a feeling you were a wild one, Tony!![]()

I never gave that much thought prior to this post, but now it all is making sense.

The second largest school in our school system was Hollywood, and I think they had maybe half what we did.5000 students? Wow!
I don't remember the attendance at my high school, but I'm guessing maybe 1/5 of that of yours.
Consider the population of the area, but still, it is rather a large number. We went to school in shifts, believe it or not.5,000 ????![]()
I attended high school in the San Francisco Bay Area--aerospace industry hub at the time, future home of Silicon Valley--and I think--can't find exact figures--the pop. of the HS at the time I went there was about 2,500; so half of what yours was, Tony; we also went to school in shifts; there were so many of us, the cafeteria was too small; so we went to lunch in 30-minute shifts, starting at 10:30 a.m. and ending at 2:30, I think.Consider the population of the area, but still, it is rather a large number. We went to school in shifts, believe it or not.
