I have about 5 dozen canning jars: jellies, pints, quarts, wide mouths and regular, in perfect condition. They're free if anyone wants them. I'm in Harwinton, CT.

Our garden is much smaller these days but we still can a few things. Thanks but we have plenty of jars, just need more energy.

We dry and jerk, these days.

But, hey, those jars ain't cheap.

I'd sell 'em on cragslist

I use to can but now I do more freezing. I saved some of my jars and for Christmas I made up dry mixes of soups and cookies. I included the recipe with measurements of the wet ingredients needed to finish the item. Added a new lid, fancy ribbon and bow. The people I know who still like to cook where happy with the gift. Nice to make up for a grab bag or church gatherings.
