Anyone want to chat about anything at all? 🤓

Hi. Since my babygirl doggie passed I've been getting a feeling of being very alone now. I don't have many friends who want to chat . Anyhow I will listen to anything you have to say.

This thread should be kept civil .

Did some errands today & made it down to Ikea which is about an hour away. I like walking around & looking to see what they have. We had a late lunch/early dinner in their cafeteria before we headed home. Wasn't a lot of people there since it was in the middle of the week so it was nice.

Hi Ruthanne.
Do you go to bed approximately the same time each night, or widely different times?
🤔

@Ruthanne , do you think you might get another puppy or dog? I know when our kitties passed away, we just needed to have another fur baby to take care of.
I really can't for several personal reasons. One is that I can no longer afford Vet prices. I am too old, too, and have a chronic, progressive illness and don't think I would outlive another pup. Thanks, though, for the idea.

I usually change out my winter pansies for summer impatiens in May. In checking the local nurseries it looks like what was $16. last year is about $45. now. I hope I am wrong. There is one place that says $2.29 but for what? It doesn't say. It might be seeds or a one inch pot.

I bet it was nice to get out 😁. I love going shopping and comparing values and prices. I too would usually go shopping at less active times.

I know how the prices of everything are becoming unreal! My mom loves impatiens. She was a good gardener!

Wow, those prices are skyrocketing too?

Are the impatiens you get , the regular ones that like shade and flower with very little sun shine??

I live very rural but have county water. My road lost water for about nine hours. That is a record amount of time.

It’s amazing what I thought of to do once I did not have the water to do it with lol lol.

I have a couple cases of bottled water, but that’s not enough if I lose water for any amount of time to water my horses. I will be going to the store tomorrow, not only because I need to go to the store, but because I am going to load up on water, water and more water. That is something that does not go bad.

Sleep – I sleep in shifts. I don’t know how I got started on that despicable habit, but I will not take any sort of medicine to help me sleep at night. I need to be able to hear the dogs and hear my horses if something happens with them. About the only thing I have left that works to 100% capacity is my hearing lol lol

I go to IKEA 2-3 times a year, usually when I'm down that way for something else.

It's fascinating but I usually hit a point where I'm DESPERATE to get out of there and you can't just head for the door....you have to follow the path around and around and around, turn here, turn there until FINALLY you're there. I feel like a rat in a maze.

I love to eat lunch there.

@jujube, my husband sits in the cafeteria drinking coffee & surfs his phone because he can't find his way around. It makes it easier for me to shop.

I don't know if they are all the same because I've only been to the one. I figured out the doors between the different sections that are short cuts. Took me a few visits to figure them out because at first I thought they led to a workers only area.
