Anyone want to chat about anything at all? 🤓

@Ruthanne

And others....

Have you gone anyplace outside of your own building recently?
I can't and don't go outdoors every day, but some days, I do manage to.

Besides Dr offices, I go to physical therapy often which I find helpful and I enjoy.
I like it when I can even just get outdoors for a short while. Without going anyplace.

Today I managed to go for an errand.
Yes, I went outside and sat on a stone sort of thingy for not very long but I did enjoy the sun and warm air! 🙃 :) That was twice this week I did that. I may try to take a short walk. I'm not in good shape physically so I'll take it slow. I'm glad you got out for awhile @Kaila It's important to get some fresh air when we can.

Sun does you good! She strokes you. Feel your hair:)

Yesterday was not a good day for me. Today is somewhat better. I organized 3 of my closets. I put a lot of old clothes in bags to give away. I also did a load of laundry. I'm caught up with that finally 😉

Cleaned off the dining table and burned several incense sticks. I love the smell of the ones that I've used. I got o ton of them on Amazon.

I also like burning soy candles but they are expensive to my budget so that's where getting incense instead comes in.

Yes, I want to chat about my boys, Andy and Bugsy. Andy is the Tabby one. He lost his buddy, Toby, when Toby was just 6 years old. We spent a bit of time with him by himself but he is needy and we realized he needed another buddy. We adopted Bugsy 4 years ago and he is now 10 years old. He has lots of gray coming out on his beautiful black coat and I know we don't have many more years with him. From the picture, they clearly love each other.

Andy is 7 years old. I continually worry that Bugsy will pass and Andy will be alone again. Not to mention, Bugsy is so special and we will miss him dearly. I'm too old at this point to adopt a kitten so I'm hoping to adopt another older adult cat. (And I hate that I'm growing a belly!)

Ten is not old for a cat especially indoor cat but sadly yes when one passes away the other is devastated .

I had a male / female Alapaha bulldogs and a cat going back 20 years bit more .

The male dog had cancer and even with treatment he lived another year after he passed both females which included our cat were never the same it was brutal but again 10 years for a cat is not bad .

One of my sisters has some kit she makes her own candles but yes the soy candle prices in last 15 years have gone through the roof .

get that natural vitamin D and fresh air

My Gizmo lost his best kitty friend. She was a sweet calico. He was such a trooper and stayed by my son's side when my son was sick. Now Gizmo is gone too and I am too old for another cat.

I completely agree with this ! I take vitamin D (along with my other supplements year around, but when the weather is acceptable, I also love to be outside and soak up real sunshine Vitamin D full spectrum.
I have always had at least a small garden, but now that my balance is not that good, and our yard is nowhere near a level place to walk, I have decided not to plant a garden this year.

I still will have the flowers and berries to take care of and that is enough for me now. I enjoy going to the farmers market and will get my garden fresh tomatoes and veggies from there this year.
We have had a lot of rain this spring, and all the roses and irises are blooming.
There are blossoms and tiny berries on the blueberries, blackberries, and both the red and black raspberries; so we should have berries this year if I can keep the birds and squirrels away.
This is the black raspberry bush.

Nothing scented here and very limited perfume. SO cannot handle it.

I'm happy to have fresh banana to eat, this morning. 🤩

There are a lot of foods I can't eat, for various reasons (which I don't want to chat about😊😁😆)

But I did want to chat about the foods I can eat, and how thankful I am for them. 😀

The banana is delicious. And goes so nicely with my cooked cereal, which i also enjoy....buckwheat, oats, and oatbran.

Good morning, Ruthanne, and all of you.

It is not a belly but a cat bed. Your furries are beautiful.
We are at a similar crossroad. Izzi blossomed since ChaCha Cat left us in April of 2024 and Shadow in 2019. She was queen B. Both of us would love more furries but our age and potentially upsetting peace in the house - would it be worth it? Should one show up like Izzi did - the door will open and so will hearts.

That's pretty cool to make her own candles! I bet she has some great smelling ones, too!
I think what happened is that some type she used to buy had a recall or warning due to toxic fumes so she began making her own soy candles but yes pain and expensive but it is what she likes to do .

As you know lots types out there natural candles not just soy but again wow prices have gone through roof in few years

Those are beautiful 😍 cats! I know how you must worry about losing one. It's a heartache for sure for other pets and you too.

Don't worry about your belly😉you must have eaten good that day💗I have acquired a belly too but it may be bigger than yours, not sure. Isn't it great how our pets love us unconditionally....they really do. That love is cherished I know.
