Anyone want to chat about anything at all? πŸ€“

I have tried ezetimine with crestor very low dose and had the pain still, I had to actually pick up my right leg and put it in the leg of my slacks for about 2 years. I see a new GP in August but am also on the list to get a quicker appointment should someone cancel. I'll see if she has that diet plan and I also heard there is a new cholesterol lowering medicine on the market now. I will see about all that plus other things, too. Thank you for your post!
This is good news ☺️

I have been thinking of you, Ruthanne.
It's understandable how you feel about missing your Suzy. πŸ’–

I remember how terrible it was for me , years ago now, losing my dearest animal companion who meant so much to me and changed my life. πŸ˜”
At some hours, it hurts more than others.

I'm glad to see you and others, posting on this thread, this morning. πŸ™‚πŸ€©πŸ₯°

Now I have to get ready to go to the dentist, this morning. Ugh! I've procrastinated on it, but today, I must go. πŸ™„πŸ˜‰πŸ˜Š
Thank you @Kaila for your understanding of grieving over the loss of an animal companion. I'm sorry you lost yours:(too. I've been thinking today that it's hard that we all, animals included, only get so much time on this Earth in our bodily form. I was just talking to Suzy in the kitchen telling her about all the food we got delivered just a little while ago. It is comforting to talk to her and lately my mom, too. She had many rescues that passed. I don't know how she got through that. She was just quiet about it.

I hope the Dentist appointment went well. I need to do that too! Nobody likes going to the dentist!

I am 75, living alone since my wife of 42 years passed a little over 4 years ago. At that time, everyone told me, "you need a dog." I was wallowing in grief, but I made the effort and 1 month later, I had Emma, my little chi-weenie. I, too, am constantly strapped financially, I am a heart patient with a near fatal heart attack and a quintuple by-pass open-heart surgery in my recent past. I knew that it would probably be a horse race as to who would outlive who. HOWEVER, the love I have gotten from my precious furry daughter saved my life. The importance of what a loving dog can do for a senior can not be minimized!

Emma can be re-homed if necessary and, although I know she would miss me, she would live on. The opposite is not true. I would again find my self awash in grief. From my experiences, I have determined that there is no good excuse or reason (other than being on death's door) for denying yourself the love of a furry companion. Other than when I got her, Emma has not been to the vet once. The love you can return to your pet (particularly if he/she is a rescue, would enrich their life beyond measure, no matter the length of time.

It is just my opinion naturally, with kind regards,

-David-
Thank you for your heart felt post. I'm sorry for the loss of your wife. That's nice you have a little chiweenie! My niece has a really darling one, too, that dances!

Thank you for the nice response, of your entire post, Ruthanne.
I truly appreciate that. πŸ₯°

Enjoyed your ideas , and thinking of you in the kitchen talking with Suzy. Also enjoyed hearing about your mom as well.

Although I must admit that my dentist appointment did not go well, I do agree after all, that nobody likes going to the dentist. πŸ˜‰πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‚

I'm sorry the dentist appointment didn't go well. Do you have to go back?

I will jump in and bore you into sleep. I will be awake the rest of the night.

I have a dr. appt at 8AM for a UTI, I believe. Sitting here with a towel on my head, just got out of the shower. I don't have much to do, just brush out my now short hair to air dry.
When it is almost time to go I can just pop up, throw on clothes, put a little product in my hair, run out the door.

Can't seem to find anything on TV that holds my attention. I am going to go cook a few veggies to eat this weekend. Also need to restock the fridge with boiled eggs. This type 2 diabetes thing is hell I tell you, hell!! I will do well and then I have an overwhelming need for carbs.

Not bad things but like rice crispies, couple of small red potatoes in the green beans. That kind of thing. I think the UTI maybe related to rice crispies, snap, crackle pop! I will ask the doc but I think I am allowed to have a few carbs. I was/am a carboholic so it has been hard. Just call me always GRUMPY!

I did manage to trim all the hedges in front today. I also planted some summer squash and okra seeds. Those both usually do well if I remember to water.

Sorry to hear you may have to move. It is really bad if you are happy where you are. Let us know when you hear back about other places. Who knows, it may turn out great. I am considering selling the house, downsizing. I have not found the right thing yet. Property taxes and insurance just keep going up. The house is paid off but things add up quick. My property taxes are frozen now that I am over 65 but are still high. I hope to find a 2bed/2bath that was built in the 50s/60s that was well taken care of by the owner.

Okay, are you sleepy now......I can keep going.....

Hi. Haven't seen you in awhile. I'm not bored but not feeling well right now. I've been getting indigestion and sometimes even nauseated. I think it's related to using a lot of black pepper on food.

I googled it and it said too much pepper can cause stomach problems. So now I'm going to stop using it and see if that helps. I took some Tums which helped a little but it still bothering me.

I hope you find a good place to downsize to. I haven't heard back from the lady I called. It's to find out what is going on with the subsiding organization. If I lose that due to them running out of money then I will need to move. I won't be able to afford the rent here.

I am used to this place but there are some disrespectful people here. If I have to move it's going to be hard to find a rental I can afford. Rent has gone up ridiculously everywhere now.

I'm just in the process of figuring out what I will do next.

I have type 2 diabetes too . I've had it 7 years. I bought a bunch of veggies yesterday and am going to put an effort into eating them.

I bet your hair looks nice short! It's a good time of year for a short haircut.☺️

Yea, I have not been on for a couple of months. Having a springtime depression. I get this every year, I just hate the summer so much. The heat is so bad. Hard to believe that when I was young, I spent the summers either at a pool or at the lake roasting.

The older I get, the worse the heat bothers me. I am snapping out of it. I have to get some stuff done around here. I have set up for someone to do the yard. He does not do the shrubs/bushes. I can at least get that done for now.

I'm sorry you are suffering from depression now. I feel down pretty much myself now.

Don't you have AC? I'd die in this apartment without it. It gets the southern sun and gets very hot in here too.

I hope you feel better ❀️

I was up very late, well into the morning! It's evening now. Yeah, I did get some good sleep finally. What's new with you?
I'm glad you were able to rest. That's so important. Lack of sleep really creates a lot of problems... After my dad died, I went through about 4 yrs of insomnia. I've been getting some work done on the garden. DH wanted to start aquaponics in one area so we are pushing to get that going. :)

Good morning, Ruthanne, you sound like you are feeling better. I just take each day telling myself I have to keep going. Somehow that helps me and I keep going.:)

I have to take care of my husband now as he has health problems and he cannot do much to help around the house. I am not very strong but I amaze myself sometimes at what I can do.

Take care of your health with the doctors advice and hope things go well with your move and financial situation.

My mobility chair has been out of order for a year or so. Now I have a loaner so my BF can try to fix mine. This one looks to be well used but seems to work good driving it around on my hall. I am trying to learn to trust it so I can use it to go the stores and parks. The worst scenario I can imagine is driving it to the store and it quitting. And not being able to get a hold of my BF so he can come help me (he lives 25 miles away). Hopefully I will get up my courage to at least take it downstairs on the elevator today.

Hope you all have a good day today!

Hi. Since my babygirl doggie passed I've been getting a feeling of being very alone now. I don't have many friends who want to chat . Anyhow I will listen to anything you have to say.
Hi Ruthanne πŸ€— I don't know if this has been mentioned and I see it says "caregiver" under your Avatar so maybe you're already doing this...
I wonder if you could be a temporary foster parent for a dog or cat until they are adopted from a Pet Adoption Agency. And...

Maybe they can provide the money you would need to care for them since many rich people donate to SPCA and other Animal Shelters. Many leave their whole inheritance to them. The only drawback is if you become attached...then that can be hard for you to give them up.

Yes, I could not live without AC. It gets so miserable with heat in Texas. I don't go out a lot anyway but even less so in the summer. May seem silly, I have central AC, but I have a window unit stored in the garage. If the central went out I could put that in on one side of the house in I have a bed, bath and kitchen on that side. @Ruthanne, sorry about the delay in my answer.... computer was acting up.
