Late yesterday, a rotating updraft was above my town and TV reporters reported a tornado was forming and made it seem inevitable that we were going to be hit - one even saying things like "Oh my God, look at the size of that thing!" - then the usual warning, "YOU NEED TO BE IN YOUR SAFE PLACE NOW!" Like most people, I have no safe place other than a bathroom in the center of the house. At the last minute, the storm made a slight turn, and failed to touch ground.
Thanks for starting this thread, Ruthanne. It's a good place to express worries and whatever is on people's minds. I'm still thinking of you after the loss of your loving pet and companion. It's not easy adjusting to being alone. I promise, it will be better one day.
