Anyone who watched The Voice? Did you know Sasha Allen son was transgender?

Did not know. Will not comment more as that is one subject I do have a problem with. I am just an old fashioned woman that tries to keep up with the times but it only goes so far. Enjoyed the show though. To each their own.
 
Yes I knew because she spoke about it earlier in the show, very early on. I loved their singing, voted for them and had hoped they'd win.

I agree. I do not watch the show..but my reaction is a resounding shrug and a "So?"

It happens that one of my favorite stand up comedians is a lady named Julia Scotti. She is trans...started her life as Rick Scotti. But you know what? I can relate to her humor because she is our age...so her comedy is from the perspective of a 66 year old lady...not a trans lady. Just an old lady.

What it means is, this young man is a child of God (as we all are children of God). Sometimes in nature things go wrong for some. I cannot imagine what it must be like for this to happen to a human being. It does however, and it is nothing to sneer at. Having our chromosomes arranged in a certain way, does not make any of us superior to those who have not. We should applaud that science (knowledge given to scientists ) can help to lessen the burden of people like Sasha.

Love and understanding is a great thing. It can move mountains. It can shape our world into something not seen before. Are we not lucky! So in answer to your question Sasha is not a “what” – he is a human being and member of the human race.
