Anyone Wicked Here? Phantoms?

I first saw Wicked in Chicago. Mind Blowing production. Saw it again once or twice.

The first Phantom of The Opera I experienced, featured a beautiful tenor voice for the Phantom. In Las Vegas, the Phantom had a more rough and edgy voice. Both were special in their own way.

My memory clerk is shuffling through the cabinet. 1776. Peter Pan. Jersey Boys. 🎶 🎵

Something has changed within me
Something is not the same
I'm through with playing by the rules of someone else's game

Too late for second-guessing
Too late to go back to sleep
It's time to trust my instincts
Close my eyes and leap

It's time to try defying gravity

I think I'll try defying gravity
And you can't pull me down

We've seen Wicked three times. The first didn't count because the valet parking guy drove my car into a concrete bench so we left after the first act to fill out insurance paperwork. It was the poor guy's first day on the job so I didn't get upset and decided to just chill and see the first act. Then we saw it twice more at the same theater when we could really take it all in. It is coming again in June but I think I've had my fill.

We've also seen Phantom twice... once in San Francisco and then in Dallas. I saw Phantom: Love Never Dies by myself. IMO it was a worthy follow-up.

We've also seen Miss Saigon, Les Miserables, Kinky Boots and Motown: The Musical twice. All are great, and the musical scores are memorable.

We're seeing Six for the second time in January. Fantastic and funny. Great Gatsby in February. Not sure what to expect.

Saw wicked twice.
Saw phantom numerous times, even in Toronto twice.

My two favorites are Come from Away and once.

Looking forward to Shucked, The Great Gatsby, and Water for Elephants in the new year.
We loved Come from Away as well. We were scheduled to see it when Covid hit, then it was canceled. We saw it a couple of years ago. Very funny and touching.
