I have an old Windows 7 computer in the basement that I was able to use my old NetZero dial up on. I still have the phone jack set up and plugged in. It was handy when my Xfinity cable went down. But it was a reminder of how sloooow it loaded, etc. But I was able to log in and visit this forum with it. Haven't had the time or need to try it in a long time, not sure if I can still use that service to get online. We got our first computer in 2000, we started with dial up.I thought they had ditched their dial-up service years ago. I was on AOL for three or four years in the late 90's and had fun with the chat rooms and using AOL Instant Messenger. Once my cable company offered broadband around 2000 I ditched AOL and never looked back but I do have fond memories of my AOL dial-up days.
