Appliances

Popcorn maker, toaster, hand mixer, stick mixer and nowadays the stove!

These days I use the refrigerator, toaster oven, and microwave to do what little cooking I require.

Time to start filling another box for the charity shop!

My oven. I use the stovetop daily, but the oven has basically become a storage place for extra pots and pans. We use it only on Thanksgiving. We have a convection oven, microwave, hot air cooker, and our crockpot all of which we use a lot more.

Pasta maker, coffee maker. We use our dishwasher for an airtight storage container for our grains, and other soft food items that don't require refrigeration.

The dish washer. It sat there for eight years not being used (just because I don't particularly like dish washers) and then the garbage started backing up into it from the garbage disposal, so I had to disconnect the hose and then gut the machine in order to clean it thoroughly. I've been using it for storage for the last nine years.

There's a new one being installed on Dec. 22 (the Spousal Equivalent wanted one and we'd have to have a new one put in anyway when we put the house on the market). I've promised him I'll use it, but who knows?

I ,too, am sure I have an iron somewhere. And I can't remember when I last used the George Foreman grill.

Iron is seldom used in our house. I had grandkids take down some appliances from an upper cabinet I couldn't reach. They were so covered in dust I threw them away. If I ever move to a place with a bigger kitchen I'll buy more. I tossed a food processor and a blender that I hadn't used in several years. They were to sticky from dust for me to donate anywhere.

A juicer, it sits on my kitchen worktop impying I make healthy juices but the truth is I’ve used it about three times and take fruit juice from a carton.....

My 3 tier food steamer and my crock pot !! I used to use them a lot but we've got other appliances on the counter now, so no room for them. they're both in their boxes, so not getting ruined with dust.

I still use my iron, I hate ironing but I hate unironed clothes more..and altho' the dryer takes out most of the creases it still doesn't do enough ...
