Are ouija boards evil?

The board is an inanimate object ... it has no power of its own.
Some of the people who use it are a bad influence.

I remember my grandma being more or less terrified by Ouija boards.
My cousins had one and we'd play with it in the basement, but we never tried to talk to the dead or anything like that.
My cousins were girls, and they wanted to know who they would marry, which boy liked them, etc.
When I inherited the farm, the Ouija board came with it.
I tossed it in the dumpster, no interest in it, and why take chances?

I don't know about serving somebody. You are naturally good, but wrong thoughts can overtake you. We have to be careful.

A friend and I were playing with one, it began to get personal. I didn't care for that and gave it to the friend. Never saw it again, suited me.

I don't have time for that. The spirits can text me and if I think might be important then I might reply.

Does Parker Bros, put warning labels on the product? They should.
"Caution: May arouse evil demons that will haul your family to Hell."
Then people would know the risks.

Best steer clear of all such things.

I just chuckle a little, but find the stuff calming if I just let myself relax into it.

I remember playing with a Ouija board with friends when we were young. I don't remember anything supernatural happening. But later, as I became more interested in the paranormal, I've read stories about Ouija boards being the gateway for evil, see @feywon's post # 4.
