Are Roads and Railways Under Attack? Crashes, explosions and death

Is it me or is there something afoot with the recent rash of crashes on US roads and railways. Or are they just a coincidence. All in the last month. Actually in less than a month there have been 6 incidents in the US.

1) A SUV stops on the tracks causing a NY commuter train crash.

2) An oil train in Virginia derails and explodes

3) In New Jersey yesterday an oil tank truck crashes and explodes

4) Today a train in California has crashed.

Also note last week in the same 10 day period there is an oil refinery fire/explosion in California. In the month of Feb 2015 there have also been train derailments/crashes in Iowa and Canada.

Would those investigating be honest with the public if they found those accidents to be acts of terror? It's seems they mentioned oil tankers as a terror target in the past. Something manufactured or just another year in mishaps and/or accidents?
 

I don't think there is any "terrorist" connection to these recent accidents...mostly they are a result of bad luck, poor timing, and probably some issues with rail lines beginning to deteriorate. People not paying attention when approaching a rail crossing has always been a problem...and now, playing with a cell phone probably increases that problem. Carrying oil and other flammable liquids via rail and truck is a high risk means of transport. With all the bad weather this Winter, and the slick roads, its probably a wonder there haven't been more highway accidents with fuel and oil trucks. Oil refinery fires and explosions occur occasionally, usually due to some work safety procedures not being properly followed. We live in a dangerous world, and Chit Happens all the time.
 
I don't think it has to do with terrorist activities either. Just poorly maintained equipment and tracks, and much needed signals, etc. at the railroad crossings. I don't know, but there hasn't been a time when I'm approaching the rail road tracks in my vehicle and I don't see or hear an oncoming train. And I'd never be so foolish as to try to outrace it because I was in a hurry. There's be more oil train accidents without that pipeline.

I'd be curious to know how much freight goes over these rails without incident especially of similar weight.

I'm wondering if these oil tank cars aren't fill all the way which allows the oil to move/swish around affecting the stability of the load on the rails.

Coincidence just isn't it cutting now.
