Are There Any Store Brand Products That You’re Loyal To?

You can't really call it a store brand, but freshly sliced lunch meat from the grocery beats the packaged stuff from???

Canadian products from Presidents Choice. They have a new mustardy type sauce that is to die for on ham.

And I always buy Kirkland olive oil and their queen size olives, good value.
A lot of olive oil brands either aren't olive oil or are diluted olive oil. Kirkland is my favorite - it was on the list of olive oils that are purely olive oil. I think I read the article in the NYT - it was one of their investigations.

I buy some Great Value products, after I read the reviews. Canned beans, shredded cheese, mixed nuts, tortilla chips, and frozen vegetables.
I buy a lot of produce (no brand names), some dairy/eggs (brand loyal there), and meat (Aldi). The best Swiss cheese slices I ever tasted were a store brand - either our local grocery store or GV. My favorite canned bean brand is Dakota (Aldi). I think the Aldi refrigerated pie crust is better and cheaper than Pillsbury. I really have to return to making my own, though.

My daughter says that GV TP is as good as Kirkland. I couldn't tell a difference when I used to visit her. I don't know if she bought a certain kind - or whether there are choices with the GV brand.

I like the Aldi brand dairy products - Half and Half, OJ, Butter, Lactose free Milk. The WalMart Members Mark brands taste watered down compared to the Aldi products at least to me. I always buy Aldi’s 45 calorie per slice bread that compares to the Sara Lee 45 calorie bread. I’ve not tried any of the Aldi paper products other than table napkins that remind me of the Vanity Fair brand.

Kraft Mac & Cheese from back in the day when it was the best thing ever, before they wrecked it by taking out artificial ingredients. Like it is ever going to be healthful? Like that was ever the point. It's not even orange anymore. Geeze.

Hey, I noticed, when last out with husband, that Frito-Lay has produced a Cheetos-flavored Mac & Cheese. If I could still eat like that, I'd be all over that stuff.

Most of Costco's Kirkland Signature products are pretty good.

Sometimes Kroger surprises me. The other day I purchased their hot fudge sauce because unlike other big name brands it contained nothing but coco, sugar, butter and coco liquor. No funny things with chemical names.
