Are there any things you love now that you really didn't like until you were older?

Lashann, what's a sandwich generation ?
Sandwich generation is being in-between caring for your children, grandchildren and caring for your elderly parents. It’s a sandwich, you are in the middle, the filling so to speak.

Old things. Antiques. I only liked new, contemporary things but now , I like things with history and character, any condition.
I like history movies and history books now and I was all only about the future when I was young.

I won't live longer enough to like broccoli, or country music. But, one thing that has changed is I like being normal., when that happens. When I was a lot younger I didn't care if I was "normal". I have to take my blood pressure every day, and this morning, all I could think of was, " Aww, damn, look at that, It's normal."

All vegetables. When I was a kid I would only eat potatoes and peas. Of course back then vegetables were just boiled to mush. Now I know what to do with them I eat far more veg than meat.
