Are there real estate prices real?

Seems like a cheap price for the castle with so much land. Wonder about the neighbors that might practice black magic and animal sacrifices in the middle of the night, or maybe a garbage dump next door.

Don't laugh, when we were looking for this place I found a lovely cabin with everything I wanted, including a walk in whirlpool tub for seniors. I was amazed at the low price until I found out it backed up to a landfill...can you say rats and odor?

I can't imagine the size of the rooms if they have 5 bedrooms in a 1331 sq. ft. apartment. My house is bigger than that and it's only got two bedrooms.

I choose France. In fact I might just buy that castle as soon as I win the lottery. You can all come to visit.

I would prefer a landfill to New York City.

Won't argue with that RK..I'd even take the rats as well.

My question is why would anyone with kind of money even buy the place..certainly they wouldn't want to live there, and unless they are buying the whole building, renting it out wouldn't pay. I doubt they could even manage a profit on renting out the entire building.

The ad for the Bronx townhouse was originally on Craigslist, it is now gone and you KNOW how bogus Craigslist is.

New York CAN be very expensive - in Manhattan it isn't unusual to pay over $1 mil for a 2-bedroom apartment on the 60th floor - but that place in the Bronx was somebody's idea of a joke, nothing more.
