Teaching the 15 year old to drive,I noticed she had 1 foot on the gas pedal and the other on the brake.
I told her that's a NO-NO when driving, one right foot only for both pedals.
Its easy to spot 2 footed driver by the red brake tail light that seems to be blinking on-off or constantly on.
So are you guys 1 or 2 footer drivers?

1 foot. What is the legal age for holding a driving licence in the US? It is 17 in the UK. My father taught me to drive around our sizeable property when I was 12.

2 footer, but I don't ride the brakes. It's quicker to stop if I have to.

Also, it's a carryover from my flying days when I had both feet on the rudder pedals.

I'm a one footer but occasionally use the left foot for the clutch, as i drive an old standard shift around the reservation.

I started out as a one footer as that is how we were taught in Driver`s Ed in school. But then I drove a manual shift for years and when going back to an automatic I had this bad habit of using both feet. It took me until my oldest took Driver`s Ed and nagged me to death about it to get me to stop....

She has a temporary learners permit as a drivers license BUT a license driver has to be in the car with her.
The age for 16 for a permanent drivers license with renewal every 3-8 years depending on the state.

One foot on my automatic tranny, and work the clutch with my left foot on my manual vehicles. :drive:

Tell that girlfriend of yours to get the hell back over in the Passenger seat.

I don't know about Larry but if I get lucky enough for a gal to sit that close I sure ain't gonna tell her to move over.
I,d be lucky just to have one get in the truck. :(

2 feet.:)
