Are you a "Black Friday" fanatic?

(Here, in the USA, our big family holiday is the fourth Thursday, in November, Thanksgiving. It's the kickoff for the Xmas buying season. Stores always had big sales on the Friday- so called Black Friday, due the crowds. In the past people would line up at stores at 3 AM.)
Are you a "Black Friday" fanatic? Or a Black Monday fill up "my shopping cart" person?
As for me, I noticed that Black Friday specials started in August. And ain't no way in hell, I am going to a store on Friday.
How about you?

Texting w/a gfriend last night...she's already chking out BF specials! I don't know if that's unusual to start early like that, since I've never shopped BF.

So she was sending me the Hulu deal.....1.99 for a year. Unfortunately , I don't qualify. But, that's a great deal.

It used to be fun. Now every day in October/November/December is Black Friday. Pfffft. I don't bother and just do my Christmas "shopping" at the credit union and put the $$ gifts in cards from Walmart that I get when we do our grocery shopping.

In the past I'd do Cyber Monday. Wouldn't do Black Friday because I am not a morning person. There are some great sales available. It is killing me that I will need to be buying stuff for my condo next month at much higher prices.

There was a time, more than a few years back, that we arose at oh-dark-thirty to go out in the cold, dark streets to stand in line for an hour or two just to get in the door and discover the item we went through all of that for had sold out with the first ten people to enter the store. So, no, we discontinued that insane ritual almost as quickly as it started lol! Good luck and more power to all of those that still partake. Online shopping for us, baby :coffee:. Don...
