Are You a Jerk?

Jerkiness (I just made that word up!), like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. Yes, talking too loud in public places, whether using a phone or not, is rude, but, to me, doesn't make that person a jerk. Parking in a handicap spot when you are not handicapped does make you a jerk. Using social media to constantly complain about the jerkiness of others via cell phones or tats or other harmless activities may or may not make you a jerk. Abusing the wait staff at your local eatery definitely makes you a jerk. Failure to use your turn signals? Maybe. Driving in the passing lane when you are not passing anyone makes you a jerk.

YMMV. Have a nice day.

By the way, what I posted was from an article in our local provincial paper. Guess, everyone has their own ideas of what a "jerk" is. It is often thoughtless people lack common sense & good manners.

Yes remember. You can't simply go out in public anymore, you must play diplomatic host at all times to everyone within earshot of you too. Blah.
