Are you a people watcher?

I have always been a people watcher. I think I would have loved to study Sociology.
Today I was watching a lady walking her dog on a leash. Dog stops walking. Does not want to go on.
Lady removes the leash. Dog immediately runs toward the road. Lady is aghast!
Tries to run after the dog. Lady is about 70. Made no headway.
Dog reaches the road, stops, looks both ways, A car is coming. Dog goes back to lady who immediately puts the leash back on.

I watch and listen all the time, people are a strange breed. Sometimes I wonder if I'm really the same species, because, you know, they're the ones that are strange, no way it's me.

If I am in a large city or on the beach, I like to watch people.
I think what fascinated me the most was going through Times Square in NYC back in the 70s. I had to go through there to get to the NYC Bus Terminal Port Authority. There were all sorts of eccentric individuals around that place.
