Nope. Not all all. As I always say I am in no particular hurry to die, but when my time comes, I'll die a contended man. My daughter isn't very happy that I feel that way, but that's life...

Nope. Could do w/o pain, tho. I have already died once and pretty much know what to expect. I am interested in where I'll go and what I'll do after the soul leaves the body.

I saw this statement the other day and it made me laugh: "When you're dead, you don't know it, but others do. Kind of like when you are stupid....." I'm really going to try to live by that statement from now on.
Yes, I'm afraid to die. Not terrified, but definitely afraid. I'd like to believe in heaven, I'm scared to believe in hell. I'd be happy to know that all I'd do is wink out like a burned-out bulb, just "not be" anymore. What does the soul go....if there IS a soul?

Yes, I am afraid. I don’t want to suffer. Also, I want to be here for my children. They are still young and neither has a partner to love and care for them when I’m gone. I also want to see how things turn out!

Being dead doesn’t bother as much as dying does.

There are moments when I'm afraid, but for the most part, I'm getting a sense of peace about it. I think preparing helps, such as with my burial gown.

Death is a big unknown, and people are afraid of the unknown. Jesus was afraid of his dying and of death, even-though he knew intellectually that he would rise, and be back in Heaven, Jesus had the heart of a man beating inside his chest.

I have been afraid at times but not lately. I'm hoping it's a natural thing to be more accepting of death the closer we get. I'm 78. I had a great aunt who lived to 97; when she was 96 I asked if she was afraid of it, she said no and I believed her.

As I'm seeing more family and friends leaving, I do think about it often. Sure...... I'm little afraid. I got used to this place and really don't know what's on the other side.

Not much sense in being scared of death. That's one thing that that will happen to all of us. Just be happy for the years on the green side of the grass.
