Are you as bewildered as me sometimes?

Thank you! i'd planned on doing that after skimming thru other replies, knew it had to be false.
And it could not solve any of our problems anyway, likely would create more. Food production for one.

But now curiosity has sprouted:
Acres in the 'lower 48' (the contiguous continental USA--1.9
World population on 1/1/22--7,868,872,451 people
So not even possible that way.

If we consider the whole planet there are some 57,308,738 square miles, some 57% of which is in inhospitable to permanent habitation by humans due to deserts & extreme elevations. That leaves 15.77 acres. So a little over 2 acres per person. But rising sea levels in coming decades will claim a chunk of that and warming of Artic and Antarctic won't likely free a corresponding amount of land. I'm not going further down that statistical rabbit hole.
Nice that you provide statistics.

I believe the devil is nearing last call. He's taking advantage of the time left before Christ returns. I think we're edging ever so closer to the end of time. But I know believers get mocked for that stuff. So think what you want. I'm just sayin...
Assume you are in the US, most of the rest of the world is much more sane.
Bewildering is why the US government continues to allow those mass shootings! When I say government I mean the Senate and Congress, it appears they owe their souls to the NRA .

It's because Americans get mad and do stupid sh*t like storming the white house when they don't get their way. It's ridiculous.

Bewitched, Bothered, And Bewildered

or maybe it's just old age creeping up on us
Don't think so, unless a person led a very a very sheltered life, one has to realize that the problems of the world in general and USA specifically did not just pop up overnight, and that multiple factors contribute to their formation and continuance.

They've been with us for centuries, more noticeable in last half century with news able to spread around the globe, sometimes as it happens. Social media can be a tool for positive and negative phenomena, because like everything else (religion, governments, educational and economic systems) it depends on the people involved.

Social attitudes have changed so much. Many people refuse to take responsibility for their actions, but look for someone else to blame. It sounds incredible, but children are starting school without the basic social skills. Schools themselves are not doing their job properly but are being used as a platform for indoctrination instead of education.
The big question is....where is it all heading and how can we stop the rot?

There are too many people in this world.
I have read that there are over 3 million people waiting for visas to come to Canada. Our noble, Prime Minister, will welcome them all.

Apparently we are a very rich country. Our leader has welcomed one and all to come and live here. As for money, we just keep printing more and more. Most of us worry about inflation but our leader has promised us that the "budget will balance itself." Wow! He is pretty wise since I don't know how he is going to do it?
