Women’s cosmetic products … lotions, deodorant, etc. … are generally priced higher than a similar product labeled for men. It’s called the pink tax. It’s also true for clothing. Why is this so?

I do too, sweat pants, long sleeve tees, hoodies. They are often nicer quality at a much cheaper price.Yes I’m aware that we pay far more than men for the same thing. It’s certainly nothing new.
At times I purchase men’s jackets or sweat shirts. Often they are better made than the female equivalent
