@jpstrap, I happen to enjoy this forum, and I think it's a wise decision on the part of the admin- @Matrix, to disallow political discussion. I would like to be able to enjoy reading threads on this forum without someone like you crapping in them, to satisfy their political urges.Nathan, I explained that my post was in keeping with the theme of the thread. I do not intend to stir political debate here. If you care to stir it up, go ahead. And if you care to continue to confront me as an antagonist, I welcome that. I would just love to have you do that. Go for it.
I enjoy this non-political forum also, just as you do. I agree with @Matrix regarding the limitation of discussion. If you would like to read threads on this forum without someone like me "crapping in them" (your descriptive words), then feel free to not have my posts pop into your view. Your view of my comments is just that, your view. Others may not share your view. Those others may actually enjoy my point of view. Please stop playing antagonist. You are better than that.@jpstrap, I happen to enjoy this forum, and I think it's a wise decision on the part of the admin- @Matrix, to disallow political discussion. I would like to be able to enjoy reading threads on this forum without someone like you crapping in them, to satisfy their political urges.
If you can't control yourself maybe you could go to a site like 4chan(google it), where there are virtually no rules or standards of human decency.
So is this your solution for continuing to violate forum rules? If you would like to read threads on this forum without someone like me "crapping in them" (your descriptive words), then feel free to not have my posts pop into your view.
Matrix said:Politics is not allowed on this forum, political posts and threads that easily lead to political debate will be edited, removed or locked without notice. Members who continually violate this rule may have their accounts terminated without notice.
I sympathize. But some things which are thrown into our faces do not slide off eventually. Those are the things we have a duty to resist as a public.I sort of feel christmas is in your face and overdone. But I get over it and enjoy what I can.
Yes - all 12 months are suitable for Heterosexual people to walk about in public as they see fit without fear of ridicule, persecution and worse.Do we celebrate Heterosexual month ?... just sayin'
I am not afraid of it collapsing. I welcome the collapse. Such a monster society should be erased from the face of the earth, lest it's toxic nature spread around the entire globe, like a pandemic.Oh man…do not remove it. We need to learn a bit here. Why, for instance, is a person afraid of our society collapsing simply because someone celebrates something different than them?

Listen to this guy.....the way he replies. I love it when Nathan does this. It's like a bit of amusement injected into the thread.Over-consumption of conspiracy type media.
Noooooooooo!I understand. I certainly have my grumpy moments.![]()
That’s a lovely picture of you Marie. You look great.Yes I do. My niece and step grandson are both gay, and in committed relationships. I do not mind as there has been a lot of hate out there.

I have no problems with gay people either, as long as their gay agenda isn't shoved into my face or the public face. I happen to have gay people within my extended family circle. I accept them. I also challenge them when their gayness becomes a drum to beat.I’m not gay but I have no issues with gay people celebrating being so. It doesn’t affect me in the least. Nobody shoves it in my face.
I used to sing with a gay guy. He was an awesome singer and my husband couldn’t stand him. He had to let everyone know he was gay and had every right to be gay. It didn’t bother me. I just accepted him the way he was. Oddly enough my husband loved my other gay friend who was more discreet about his sexuality. He didn’t like my female gay friends either. He’d claim they were TOO gay.I have no problems with gay people.
