Are you getting less critical, or more critical of others, as you grow older?

I'm getting less critical because I don't like curmudgeons, never did, never will and I'd hate to be one. Having said that I do get bewildered from time to time...

I hate to admit this but I am more critical and judgemental as I have gotten older. It's for one reason only. I am so damn political! But if I have my mind on anything else and talk about other things, and not about those in the news that I strongly dislike, I'm okay. I can then get along with everyone around me and have fun and laugh. That's why lately, I have been trying to avoid watching the all news networks.

Less critical, and more honest about my feelings. I mean, at times wrong is wrong, so I don't see letting someone know that to be "critical".

But for the most part, I just feel sad for someone when I read some of the things they believe. Seems like a waste of a life, and sometimes a denial of the human condition. I'd give an example, but someone will report it and get it deleted. :D

Me, critical? Me? Are you joking?

I'm never, never, ever critical of those noisy, scruffy, waste of space plonkers that live down the street. 😊

If my behavior is the earmark of my age I am either a spoiled brat or a crotchety old man. Either way I am certain to get my way...except with my wife.
My wife is more level-headed than I am so, when I come up with an idea, like selling our house and moving into another, she restrains my enthusiasm by shooting my. ideas down. She agrees with selling this house and moving to another, on her time, not mine.
It's a good thing until you realize the man you were, she became.
