Are you having a normal rainfall year?

One of members mentioned that it was extraordinarily arid where she lived. I live in Northeastern PA; and to me, it seems normal. I tried to look at a few online charts for PA, but I couldn't figure out how to read the damn things. So where you live, are things getting noticeably drier than years ago, or are you swamped?
 

Not by a long shot. I am in Rochester, NY and we had a severe drought all summer. We have had more rain this past month than we have had in the past 4-5 months. Too little too late.
 
We've broken all records for the month of October in Seattle this year and it's still raining tonight.
 

We've been having a bit of a drought in Maine. Where I live our average rainfall is approx. 53.5", and YTD we've had 34.5". We've been having a moderate drought, and our state forest service had many areas on high alert earlier this fall, but now with recent rain, we're back to low alerts. For this kind of weather data, I like to use wunderground.com > History > Custom > input the YTD dates.

Drought Monitor (http://droughtmonitor.unl.edu/Home.aspx) is interesting to look at too.
 
We are in a severe drought situation here in Georgia. I cannot remember the last time we got any rain. I am trying to keep alive some old plants but it is beginning to look "iffy"! Lots of wild fires in wooded areas. Debbie, send Georgia some of your rain!
 
I'm a little south in Pa, we had a dry summer and had a rain deficit. Of course, now that fall is here, we begin to get some rain. Unfortunately, during the dry, summer months there were a lot of showers and some rain north and south of us but we didn't see it here. Our grass was crunchy and began turning brown. Not a real draught but dry.
 
Dry as a bone here in Colorado, very dry summer and supposed to be dry this winter too, hope they're wrong. Lots of wildfires going on, thankfully not too close to where I live, but my heart goes out to all the folks who've had to evacuate or had their homes destroyed. Grass in the yard is dying quickly, bare in a lot of areas and brown. Debbie, send some of that rain over here! :D
 
Here in this part of Montana we've set an October rainfall record--a whopping 3.5". That's a lot for October. How nice I didn't have to deep water our trees before the freeze arrives.
 
Our rainfall totals for the year are right at normal....however, it seems to come in spurts. We go 2 weeks with nothing, then a storm comes through which dumps a bunch, and most of it just runs off. Overall, the land is quite dry for this time of year. October was the 8th warmest on record, and it looks like it will be mid November before we have our first frost...almost a month behind average.
 
We are running about 10% ahead of the expected 7.4" annual precip. We could end up with a whopping 8" this year.
