Are you into bottled waters?

I remember when they stated selling water in the grocery stores. I couldn't believe that someone would actually pay for something that came out of your for almost free. Many years later I'm buying bottled water, because I have so much iron in my well water I can't drink it. But, now, there's all kind of special bottled waters.
Are you a connoisseur of fine bottled waters or are a lowly tap water person?
 

I buy bottled water... most for the cats because they won't drink tap water.
I mostly cook with tap water, as well as for coffee and tea.
But I also keep some bottles for me to drink and company.

I can't fit into the top of the bottles, so I can't really say that I'm into them.
 
We have a well with very good water, that is a bit high with iron, and calcium, etc. We have a whole house water softener, and I use a salt that reduces the iron content to keep the sink aerators cleaner. Every couple of years I send a sample to the State health department, and their response is usually "I wish our city water was this good". We carry some bottled water with us when we go to the stores, etc., because so much of the town water tastes so bad...chlorine, etc.

Pure unfiltered artesian water...yum
 
I was buying gallon jugs of spring water for a while but got to thinking :unsure:
... anything that comes in plastic means it will contain an amount of micro-plastics in the liquid.
So do I really want to drink a bunch of micro-plastics? ... nope
Now back on city tap water that has very good yearly test results here in lower Alabama.

And for a while I did use a PUR PLUS Faucet Mount Water Filtration System on my kitchen faucet.
Was nice to filter water or run water straight through the system unfiltered for most kitchen tasks at the flip of a lever.
But I did notice a taste to the filtered water that the PUR PLUS System introduced.
So back to city tap water that has very good yearly test results here in lower Alabama.

Not all parts of BC are the same. Our water is very hard and reeks of and tastes like chlorine. Prior to this we lived in an area where itā€™s much worse.

We buy refillable large bottles of water for drinking. At least the household water for baths, etc is tolerable.
 
We have really good quality tap water, but shops still sell 'spring water'. There are a several towns which are known for their spring water spas. Often said to have medicinal properties. Some years ago I was in Buxton , one such spa town. You could buy the bottled spring water, or simply go to the spring, which is in town, and fill your own bottles for free.:unsure:
