Are you into bottled waters?

Nah. I just drink from the tap. And the hose if I'm out in the yard.

We did, however, invest in a water cooler for my SIL. She takes so many different meds for her MS, one of the side effects is that she's constantly thirsty.

We started off just buy cases of water, and pouring them into her special drinking bottles (with long straws), because she can't hold a water bottle. (not strong enough)

That lasted a couple months, and I finally said enough of this. It was a constant thing, getting water, loading the fridge, pouring the water into her bottles, etc. Nonstop.

Now, every other week, I get 4 five gallon jugs of water.
 

I drink tap water. Bring water to work out of the tap in my stainless bottle.

If I drink something purchased out of a plastic bottle, it's soda. And I rarely buy those.
 
A proud "out of the tap" water person for the most part.

I do buy big jugs of distilled water to clean my vinyl records.

Also, one plus of bottled water is when you're traveling. When you go to the store to get refreshment, it's usually a selection of sugary nonsense, or water. In that case, the water option is appreciated.

We have wells and whole house filters that trap the sand, but won't remove all of the dirt. My sister sent me one of those filter pitchers that make about a half gallon of clean water at a time, and I use that. It's the most expensive one on the market, I think. I don't think you can buy bottled water that is cleaner than that, but it was a pain to get in the habit of making clean water. Now it's just a minor issue.

Hubby is originally from California, said the water did not taste good at all.
 
I drink water straight from the tap at home..it's good water.. but I buy small bottles of water in bulk, and keep them in the shed, and use a bottle when I go out to take with me in the car. Laziness really because I have cups I could take.. but its just simpler to take the bottle with me and then throw it away when I'm out
 
That reminds me, I forgot to add that every bottle of water, every can or bottle of soda, etc., that we ever bought, going all the way back 1999, the bottles and cans were all recycled. I told our three kids "Whoever collects the most cans and bottles, gets the CRV money." You would think that all three would have jumped at that challenge. But nope. Our youngest is the only one who ever did any of it.

Yeah, I know... Sorry, I couldn't resist it. :cool:

Probably varies throughout the state. California borders Mexico and the desert, but the north is considered part of the Pacific Northwest.
