Are you more like your mother or your father?

Physically i look more like my Mom tho i also look very much like 2 of my half sisters despite it only being Dad's DNA we have in common.

Mentally and emotionally, much more like my Dad, thankfully. Mom had her good points, but her tastes and values seemed to shift depending on the Significant man in her life, sometimes doing a 180 like going from being a life-long cat lover to 'hating' them like her last hubby did. Dad on the other hand, while capable of changing opinions with more info about something, did not shift basic tastes and values. Raised Catholic he was an atheist for years, then more agnostic. Late in life he was drawn to Eastern Philosophies which i had discovered in my teens.

Probably more like my mother. My father was legally blind & never had a high paying job. My mother took care of the family finances & she did a really good job of handling what was available. Learning to put needs ahead of wants & being frugal was a lesson learned at an early age.

My mother prepared three meals a day and I don't think she enjoyed it or the cleaning up afterwards. She also raised four kids. I think she would have been happier doing something else. My father was a builder and always creating something. I think he was more fulfilled. I feel I take a little from each of them.

I wish I was more like my mom, she was one of those busy-all-the-time productive people who didn't like wasting time watching TV. Unfortunately I take after my dad and sit in front of the TV (or YouTube on the computer) way more than I should.

I am more like my grandma,I think I am always right. Unfortunately I am not, so I have to back down on occasion.

However my grandma was always right.

A bit of both I’m quiet , reserved, and have social anxiety like mom. I’m a logical , problem solver like dad. They were both hard workers and stressed out most of the time unfortunately as it affected me I’m stressed out too
