Are you more wary of vaccines going forward?

Since the covid 19 "vaccine" debacle there has been some conversation on social media regarding how people will feel going forward about ALL vaccines. I know we're seniors and have had most of our vaccines already as children so it may be a non issue. But, how will you feel in the future about vaccines being pushed at you? Despite the admitted failure of the covid vaccine to prevent transmission, this same vaccine is on the recommended list for the future for children.

I think I will continue to avoid vaccines unless there is an overwhelming reason not to.

I'm always wary as to what medical people say or recommend, but unfortunately the doctors, in my case, have always been right. btw, have not had a covid shot in a year, not sure going forward. Just never got around to it.

I will definitely be more suspicious if a "vaccine" is mandated under emergency use authorization in the future. And, since it doesn't prevent transmission, why are they trying to force kids to be vaccinated to go to school? It seems the risks outweigh the benefits.

Absolutely. Once I became aware of the deceit I stopped agreeing to the yearly flu shot Crack.

Naturally immune to covid with the full set of God given antibodies. The Angel of Death will take me whenever my bingo number is called.

I'm always wary, and doctor's make mistakes, but I think they probably know more than some guy selling horse pills on the internet. I listen to my doctor, don't always agree, but between the two of us working together, I feel I can make a more informed decision.

Well, the science supports the use of vaccines, but there's also the greed factor in the industry. Money, money, money... gimme, gimme, gimme. There is no altruism in the pharma industry. It's all about making money. There are some vaccines that I pass on, but covid-19 is still a serious virus, and I'd prefer not to get it, so I choose to keep current with my vaccinations. I also wear a mask when I go out in public, which I avoid whenever possible. But I would avoid people even without the pandemic. :ROFLMAO:

I have had 5 Covid shots and annual flu shots with no side effects. The two acquaintances who died of Covid were unvaccinated. We need to be wary of big pharma, but I decided to trust my doctor on this one. A partially vaccinated person in my house got a mild case of the most recent strain of Covid but I tested negative. We hear all sorts of stories, but this is my personal experience,

No. I've never had a flu shot, because my past experience suggests I'm unlikely to get the flu.

Having had no prior experience with Covid, I didn't want to find out the hard way. So I thought it best to get vaccinated. No reaction from 4 shots so far. If I had a reaction, I might reconsider.

I got a tetanus shot recently, and had a slight reaction. I think this is just normal stuff. Weigh the odds and decide for yourself.

I think some people will be more wary, but they won't admit it because they want to feel they made the right decision.
I've seen that in several friends.
And (by the way) the fact that someone had no reaction to the vaccines doesn't mean the vaccines offered any protection. Everyone I know who was vaccinated became seriously ill with Covid. That speaks volumes about the vaccine's benefits.
No vaccines for me; I had a mild Covid case 3 months ago.....the mild illness claimed to be the result of getting vaccinated.

Why would you avoid people even without the pandemic and anyway the pandemic is officially over.

My friends who were vaccinated got covid too. It was kind of a useless "vaccine". More like an experimental drug and everyone who took it was the experiment. It's unethical.

I did get three of the Covid vaccines and as always got my flu shot. Then this year I got Covid, called my doctor he ordered an antivirus med which I took. I had a fever and was really tired for 5 days. By the way, I have two problems that put me at risk for Covid and Flu. So, I was a bit nervous about this, but in 5 days I felt perfectly fine. I had no after affects. Actually, it was no big deal, maybe because I took the shot or ???

A couple of month later I got the flu. I went in to get tested to make sure it was not Covid, and it was not. It was type A Flu. I got sick with the flu, much worse than with covid. We were out of town, and we had to stay an extra week in the motel until I could travel home. I eventually got over it and regained my energy. But this was the first time I have had the flu as an adult, and I am over 70. I guess I was due!

I hope this does not continue. It has been a while and all seems fine, but it sure was a run of sick time for me. But, really no big deal, as I did not get down in bed, or unable to eat and drink.

Life is good....

Which strain of Covid did your friends get? I understand that vaccinated people sometimes contracted the most recent variant but avoided hospital stays and death.

So how many times has the bolded happened in your lifetime? As far as I know, all of the other vaccines were routine based on age, need or whatever requirements by country.

I've had the same primary physician for about 27 years. With consultation, I make the final decision. As a science guy, I will continue to follow the information. Conspiracies are for the gullible. I would think that when the next pandemic happens everybody on SF will already be deader than a doornail. :ROFLMAO:

I've had 3 and don't intend to have more.. but I waited for well over 18 months from the beginning of Covid to have the first shot.. I kinda go along with my friend whose a GP in private Practice. If she has it and encourages her kids to have it.. then I feel it's safe to have it..
