I helps when I think someone has stepped on my toes. I know if it's me or if it's them.

I have very expensive hearing aids... I go to my Doctor 2 times a year....when I'm with people I can hear them...
It's the phone that bother's me....I was talking to my friend and she kept on taking the phone away from her air..
I did tell her what she was doing...She said she was sorry...It was a habit...

Some HA's have a switch for telephone - does yours have one. When you see the audiologist the him/her about the phone. Usually there are different programs that you can use for different hearing situations. Best of luck and yes, the phone is a pain at time even for me.
